Rain, rain, rain....
Between the constant rain today and last weekend's rainy Saturday it got me thinking of the old superstition "Rain on your wedding day is good luck"
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of being apart of Sue & Giovanni's wedding day.
Well the weather started not to cooperate just as we were ready to take our outdoor pictures.
With some quick thinking and a great team of videographers and photographers, we came up with a new plan. We got some great pictures at Fresh Meadows and then moved on to a McDonalds! And yes, the whole bridal party was starving!

Cakes with Bling!
Continuing with our bling theme...how about some BEAUTIFUL cakes?
I love the wedding cake. It can be the "wow" factor in your reception room. Everyone always loves to go up and see the details. Plus, remember you take lots of photos with this lovely cake so don't forget to tie it into your color scheme. Here are some bling cakes:

Adding a little bling to......
I'm going to try to make a BIG effort to blog more, at least once a week. So this month, I'm going to make it all about the B-L-I-N-G. Who doesn't like adding a crystal here and there to give your wedding a little "pop"? Let's start with a huge trend of wedding belts. I love this!!! Here are some great examples....

One of my favorite things about a wedding is seeing all the little details come together. You spend months, even years planning this special day and when you first walk into that reception room, your face lights up. Welcome to Our First Blog!
Welcome! First, I must say that I don't know too much about "blogging" but I hope in the future to get better at this. This is where we plan on posting the newest trends in the wedding world as well as our real weddings.
